Argus "Gus" Young EAGLE— Services for Argus "Gus" Young, 83, of Rt. 1, Eagle, who died Wednesday, March 30, 1983, at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, by the Rev. Evert Roberts of the Gospel Tabernacle Meridian. Interment will follow at the Meridian Cemetery. He was born on Aug. 22, 1899, at Competition, Mo. At the age of six, he moved with his family to the Boise Valley where he was reared and educated. He married Pearl Kindall on May 1. 1929, at Boise. They farmed in the Meridian-Eagle area until retirement in 1970. Survivors include his wife of Eagle; one son; Lee of Eagle; one daughter, Carol Pollock of Harvard, Ill.; one brother, Jeff Young of Meridian; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Rambo, Mrs. Bernice Rambo, Mrs. Inez Hudson, Mrs. Ima Hudson, all of Meridian, and Mrs. Ardath Farnham of Pocatello; eight grandchildren; and three greatrgrandchildren. He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Harold and Leslie, and one sister, Gladys Rambo. Active pallbearers will be Morris Rambo, Bob Mitch, Harold Hudson, Jim Farnham, Theron Young, and Doug Young. Honorary pallbearers will Joe Young and Brian Pollock.
