Jeanne Racca, 90, of Sulphur passed from this life on Aug. 17, 2010, at Grand Cove Nursing Home in Lake Charles. Jeanne was born June 21, 1920, in Arnaudville to Pierre Robin and Virginia Domec Robin. She lived in Sulphur most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Racca; her second husband, Fate "Son" Parker; daughter, Margarette Racca Matte; sister, Ann Taylor; and brother, Walter Robin. She is survived by four grandchildren, Kevin Matte and his wife Angie of Lake Charles, Yolanda Matte Rogers and her husband Kirk of Guinea, Africa, Carla Matte of Sulphur and Racca Matte and his wife Connie of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Martha Beard of Bridge City, Texas; one brother, Wallace Robin and wife Ollie of Nederland, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. A mass will be at a later date.
