Edwin Eugene Stone Mr. Eugene Stone, age 87, of Celina, Texas, passed away August 16, 2010 in Gunter, Texas. He was born September 24, 1922 in Celina, Texas to Bedford and Pearl D. (Hayes) Stone. He married Madeline "Peppie" Tichler on November 5, 1942 in Celina. Mr. Stone was a long time farmer in Celina, a lifetime country music fan and a member of the Celina Country Travelers for 12 years . He is survived by his wife, Peppie Stone of Celina, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Lylan Roller, Mary Alice Biggs, Edith Moore, Allie Deron and 3 brothers, Tom Stone, Richard Stone and Hugh Milton Stone. A Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina with Brother Dwight Maxson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Celina Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina.
