Published in the Herald Democrat "Sherman - Lillie Mae Ball, 85-year-old Sherman resident, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 in her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Tom Bean Church of Christ. Officiating will be Kerry King, A.C. Quinn and Welton Stoker. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Mrs. Ball was born on May 10, 1921 in the Cannon community, daughter of W. D. and Mabel (Hunter) Wiggins and attended Van Alstyne High School. On May 20, 1939 she married C. B. Ball in Van Alstyne who preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1994. She was a member of the Tom Bean Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Chris Counts, Greg Counts, Robert Embry, John Griffin, Eddie Griffin and Danny Hill. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Low and husband, Lynn of Sherman, Texas; one son, Mike Ball and wife, Sharon of Sherman; 10 grandchildren, Candace Galbraith, Teresa Renfro and husband Russ, Shelly Low, Brenda Ann Wendler, Brad Low and wife, Tammy, Chris Ball and wife , Kathy, Scott Ball and wife , Kim , Adam Ball and wife, Ana, Eric Williams and Jennifer Wesson and husband, Leo; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ann Ryan and Sally Taylor and husband, Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2"
