Bio

Mary Lucreta Sherrell was the daughter of Joseph Sherrell and Rachel Odle. She married John M LeFever, a veteran of the Civil War, in 1883. Together they had nine known children: Nellie, John, Minnie M, Eddie H, Louella, Elsie P, Pansy F, Floyd F and a child that died in infancy. They lived many years in Fremont County, Iowa and in 1920 were living in Nebraska. John died in Nebraska in 1933. Mary moved to Missouri to be near her daughter, Pansy Lutz. She died in Grundy County, Missouri, at the age of 93 years.
