Agnes Fojtik daughter of John and Agnes (Kubecka) Kubena.Agnes Kubena married Albin Fojtik. Mrs. A. Fojtik, 72, Succumbs At Columbus Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Kubena Fojtik, widow of the late Albin Fojtik, were held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus, on Dec. 23, with Rev. Patrick Palmer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fojtik died at Columbus Convalescent Home Dec. 21. She was born July 14, 1898, at Holman. She and her husband lived on a farm in the Weimar area until moving to Columbus 34 years ago. They continued farming there until Mr. Fojtik's death June 6, 1952. Mrs. Fojtik is survyved by two daughters, Mrs. Ersin (Mary) Loesch of Guy and Mrs. Frank (Marcelline) Steinhauser of Columbus; three sons, Joe Fojtik of Weimar; Daniel Fojtik of Point Comfort and Rudolph Fojtik of Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. John (Emilia) Pytlovany of Schulenburg, Mrs. John (Mary) Kadlecka of La Grange and Mrs. Marvin (Rosie) Derryberry of Portland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son died in infancy. Two brothers, Adolph and Frank Kubena, also preceded her in death. Pallbearers were Ronald Rollins, George Pokluda, Leon Berger, John Mattern, Dick Klimple and Herbert Girndt.
