Fremont Morning Guide (Fremont, Nebraska) 31 May 1940, Fri Page 4 Prague Woman Dies In Omaha Omaha - AP - Mrs. Vlasta Placek, 44, wife of Vincent Placek of Prague, died early yesterday at an Omaha hospital after illness of two weeks. Other survivors are son, Adolph, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prochaska of Prague; three brothers, Ladislav and Vladimir, Prague, and Lumir, North Bend. Fremont Morning Guide (Fremont, Nebraska) 01 Jun 1940, Sat Page 8 Rites Today For Mrs. Placek Prague - Funeral services will be held here today at 10 a.m. at the National hall for Mrs. Vincent Placek, who died in an Omaha hospital Thursday. Cremation will be at Forest Lawn Memorial park, Omaha.
