From THE FRANKSTON (TX) CITIZEN Sept. 28, 2000 Edition Willie Mae Beard Graveside services for Willie Mae Beard, 83, of Frankston were held at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, with Revs. Bob Waldman and Kevin King officiating under direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Frankston. Memorial services were at 5 p.m. at the Frankston United Methodist Church. Mrs. Beard died Saturday, Sept. 23, in a Tyler hospice. Mrs. Beard was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Poynor, daughter of the late Willie Ezell and Cuba Bell Richards Ezell. She was a homemaker and a Licensed Vocational Nurse, working for Doctors Crawford, Rucker and Bone in Jacksonville. Mrs. Beard was a member of Frankston United Methodist Church in Frankston. Survivors include three sons, Jerry Lee Beard of Frankston, Ken Elvin Beard of Hondo and James Milton Beard of Frankston; one brother, Charles Ezell of Tyler; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Lind Lykins, John Beard, Jason Beard, Kathi Long, David Kirkpatrick, Brett Beard, Loal Beard, Emily Beard, Angela Friberg, Andrew Kammer and Joshua Schueling. * * * * * *
