Bio

Anna M. Novak Passes Away Anna Marie Novak was born August 2, 1853, in Jilemnice, Czechoslovakia, and with her husband Frank Novak, who preceded her in death fifteen years ago, came to America in 1877. She died at the farm home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Vavak, March 13, 1934 at the age of 80 years, five months and 11 days. She was the mother of nine children, four of them dieing in their infancy and the eldest daughter, Mrs. Frank Pospisil, seven years ago. Surviving are Frank Novak, Weston; Anna, (Mrs. Adolph Kliment), Weston; Miss Antonia Novak, Prague; and Frances, (Mrs. John J. Vavak); also four sisters, Mrs. Marie Ostry, Prague; Mrs. Jennie Horn, Perry, Okla.; Mrs. Pauline Rerucha, Bruno; Mrs. Antonia Hauth, Prague; one brother, John Schultz, Prague; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday from the National Hall with burial in the Prague National cemetery, Rev. Marek of the Presbyterian church officiating.
