Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 10 Jul 1970, Fri Page 2 Peter M. Vavak Services Slated Schuyler - Services for Peter M. Vavak, 74, will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Kucera Funeral Home Chapel in Prague. He died unexpectedly at his home in Schuyler Wednesday. He was born July 13, 1895, in Prague. He married Anna Liska at Sparta Jan. 21, 1919. She died in 1965. He had lived in Schuyler since 1953. Survivors include three sons: Peter S., Tucson, Ariz.; Stanley, Grand Island; and Lester, Prague; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn) Calik, Omaha and Mrs. Joseph (Delores) Havelka, Prague; one brother, John, Wahoo; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Vanek, Wahoo; and Mrs. Amiel (Victoria) Chmelka, Prague; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jasper Foust, Ernest Kuncl, Aloys and George Codr, James and Antone Kudlacek. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Prague. Rev. Donald Imming will officiate.
