Donald Maynard, 64, of Elm Mott, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, in Waco. A rosary will be recited and funeral services held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, near West. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Donald was born in Malone, Texas, to the late George and Ella Mae (Monthie) Maynard. He attended Abbott schools. On Sept. 18, 1965, he was united in marriage to Martha Hutyra in Abbott. Donald was a truck driver and also worked for General Tire and Rubber Company. He was presently employed by Pearson Construction, where he has worked for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also loved his dogs, Oscar, Winston, and Cory. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Donald was a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Martha Maynard, of Elm Mott; sons, Dwayne Maynard and girlfriend, Jamie Benedittine, of Chalk Bluff and Jeff Maynard, of Elm Mott; granddaughter, Megan Kuykendall and husband, John, of Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Allanah Kuykendall and Katy "Poopsie" Kuykendall; brothers, Jerry Maynard and wife, JoAnn, of West and Kenneth Maynard, of Abbott; sisters, Georgia Lewis and husband, Al, of Ft.
