Bio
He was born May 10, 1932, in Lincoln, to Reinholdt and Margaret Ellen (Pickerill) Lutz. He enlisted in the Nebraska Air National Guard and retired as an E8 senior master sergeant in 1985. He was a member of the American Legion and the DAV. Survivors: second wife, Sandee; son, Steven Lutz and wife Sandra Oliva, daughters, Donna West and husband Tim, and Joyce Lutz; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Steve Wittenhagen, all Lincoln; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Maddox, Lincoln, Patricia Tate, Oklahoma; twin brother and sister, Marcella Dalton, Marvin Lutz, both San Diego; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
