Bio

SHAMROCK - Paul O'Neal, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Lee, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. O'Neal was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Franklin County, Ark. He married Lucille Harris in December 1934. He lived in Shamrock 67 years. He worked as a butcher for P.T. Boston and Piggly Wiggly and later as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife in January 2001. Survivors include three sons, James O'Neal of Borger, Eddie O'Neal of Uvalde and Jerry O'Neal of Farmington, N.M.; three daughters, Louise Alexander, Joyce Bush and Vickie Bedell, all of Amarillo; a sister, Tennie Harris of Rosamond, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
