Martha Davis Prater, 70, Tyler, died Aug.13, in a Tyler hospital. She was born March 31, 1928, in Waco, to the late R.E. "Lone" and Daisy Eichelburger Davis Sr. She was retired from the Veterans Hospital in Houston as a dietitian. She moved from Waco to Houston in 1957 and then to Tyler in 1990. She was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church, in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Prater; and brothers, R.E. "Lone" Davis Jr., and Charles E. "Gene" Davis.
