Service Number: 18178084 Pfc Emil Joe Ondricek was killed in action in Germany. He received his education at Bomarton and before going into the service, worked at Wichita Falls. he was inducted into the US Army on 30 September 1942 and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and at Fort Meade, Georgia before leaving for overseas in July 1944. He went over as a replacement and was assigned to the 95th Division, a part of Patton's Third Army. He had taken part in much of the fighing from Metz on into Germany. Memorial services were held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour Survived by his parents; two brothers - Frank and Stanley Ondricek; four sisters - Mrs. Lois Marak, Mrs. Emillee Morris; Mrs. Mary Ann Thomas; Mrs. Jozell Opela.
