Bio

L.T. Sandifeer, 41, died at Veterans Hospital in Dallas Monday afternoon after several months illness. He was born Jan 23, 1920 at Dike, son of Mr and MRs A.L. Sandifeer. For the past ten years he was employed at Dallas Power and Light Co. He resided in Grand Prairie, and was a veteran of W.W. II. His wife, the former Juanita Duncan, survives. Other survivors are two sons, A.G. and Rickey Sandifeer of Grand Prairie, his mother Mrs. A.L. Sandifeer of Dike, two brothers O.L. Sandifeer and Jay Sandifeer of Garland and two sisters Mrs. Junior Bearden of Sulphur Springs and Mrs. James bartley of Garland. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Garland with graveside rites at Conner Cemetery Dike at 5pm. with the Rev Charles Taylor of Hagansport in Charge. Murray Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
