Bio

Daughter of Everett and Irma (Kirkpartick) Davis. She graduated from Weston High School. On May 5, 1954, she married Albert "Bud" Comte at the First Congregational Church in Wahoo. She lived in David City where she worked at the ASCS office from 1954-1962. Pat was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and served as Treasurer for many years. She also belonged to PEO, VFW and Legion Auxiliary, the Northside Extension Club, DCHS Boosters and was the David City Centennial Queen in 1973. She adored her grandchildren, loved bowling, softball, golf, baking, was an avid bridge player, loved cards and any game she could beat you at. She also loved trivial pursuit and garage sales. Pat died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City. She is survived by four children; Roger L.(Tami) Comte, Ryan L. Comte, all of David City, Renee L.(Mick) Kovar, Lincoln and Rick L.(Pam) Comte, David City, two sisters; her twin Peggy (Loyd) Erickson, Wahoo and Cheryl "Billie" Kliment, David City, nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren, Stephanie (Tanner) Goodrich, Memphis, Tennessee, Megan and Adam Kovar of Lincoln, and Brian, Christy, Gabrielle, Alexander, Nicholas, Brenden, Madelaine, Isabella and Jacqueline Comte, all of David City,and one great-grandchild, Hudson Goodrich, of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Delmer and Michael Davis and two sisters; Imogene Holliday and Betty Patzlofs.
