Technician Fifth Class, U.S. Army Service # 38113573 2nd Ranger Battalion Entered the Service from: Texas Awards: Purple Heart He was killed by German artillery fire near the town of Germeter, Huertgen Forest. The area was nicknamed ,,Purple Heart Corner'' by American soldiers.
