Mareda P. Blakely SALT LAKE CITY - Funeral services for Mareda Polson Blakely, 76, who died Saturday, Dec. 10, 1977 in a Salt Lake hospital, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State. Her son, Newell Turner, lives in Lehi. Born June 17, 1901 in Sandy to Andrew and Elise Polson, she married Newell Turner. They were later divorced and she married Collins Blakely on Sept. 30, 1948, He died Jan. 20, 1962. Survivors include one son, Newell Turner, Lehi; one stepson and two stepdaughters, Marion Blakely, Ririe, Ida; Mrs. Harold (Bernice) Hardy, Layton; Mrs. Ralph (Geneva) Watson, Ucon, Ida.; two grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Henry Polson, Sandy, and Mrs. Violet Eatchel, Murray. Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
