Bio
Anna Kroupa was born on the June 1, 1887 in Colfax County, Nebraska to Frantisek (Frank) Kroupa and Anna (Filipi) Kroupa. Anna was baptized on the 20th day of October, 1887, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Schuyler, Nebraska. On Febuary 5, 1924, Anna Kroupa and Frank Jakub were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Schuyler, Colfax County, Nebraska, by the Rev. Joseph Vitko. Anna and Frank never had children. Anna's siblings were Frances, Julia, and Mary Kroupa. Anna passed away on May 5, 1952, St. Mary's Hospital, Columbus, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Schuyler at 9:00 a.m., May 12, 1952. Officiating the service was Rev. Victor Herman. Interment at the Killian's Cemetery, Saunders County, near Morse Bluffs, Nebraska.
