Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 02 Feb 1937, Tue Page 4 SERVICE IS HELD FOR EDWARD RACEK Was Prominent Farmer in Saunders County Morse Bluff, Feb. 2 - Funeral services were held for Edward Racek Sunday afternoon at the Z.C.B.J. hall with Rev. B. Phillipi of Clarkson conducting the services. Mr. Racek died Friday morning at his home in Morse Bluff, at the age of 58 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Racek, one son, Raymond; one grandson, his aged mother, Mrs. M. Racek; one brother, William Racek; and four sisters, Mrs. Anna Tenopir of Oklahoma; Mrs. Lizzie Svec of Milligan; Mrs. Julia Vachal and Mrs. Emma Wirka, both of Morse Bluff. One daughter preceded Mr. Racek in death 18 years ago. Edward Racek was married to Anna Hines in 1907. They establlished their home on their farm two miles south of Morse Bluff where they resided until the year 1934 when they retired. Mr. Racek purchased a residence from John Vopalensky in Morse Bluff where he and his wife have made their home since. Mr. Racek has been a prominent and prosperous farmer. He was a member of the Z.C.B.J. lodge. The burial was made at the Killian cemetery. The pallbearers were nephews: Lloyd Racek, Edward and Emil Wirka, Lew and Emil Tenopir and Louis Racek of North Bend. Relatives present from out-of-town were: Mrs. Kuska of Exeter, Mrs. Lizzie Svec of Milligan and Joe Soukup of Milligan.
