Rudolph ‘Rudy' Revier The Duncan Banner KANSAS, Okla. — July 21, 1923 — Aug. 3, 2010 Rudolph "Rudy" Revier, a resident of Kansas, Okla., who spent more than 40 years of his life in Duncan, was born July 21, 1923, in K.A.M.A., Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Revier, of Comanche. Rudy passed away Aug. 3, 2010, at the age of 87. He married Inez in Duncan on Feb. 22, 1944, recently celebrating 66 years of marriage. Rudy retired from Sun Oil Company after more than 30 years. He served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army during World War II and he's a former member of Assumption Catholic Church in Duncan. Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and granddaughter: Kristi Youmans. Rudy is survived by his wife of 66 years: Inez Revier of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Mary Anne Revier, of Murrieta, Cali.; daughter and son-in-law: Gayle and Jerry Coyle of Grove; and daughter: Jann Clark, of Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren: Greg Blackwell, Marianna Blackwell, Gina Parker, Jeff Revier, Kristen Revier and Matt Clark; six great-grandchildren: Tiffany Fleming, T.J. Avea, Sabrina Avea, Brenda Revier, Chase Yingst and RaeLynn Revier; and a great-great-grandson: Hunter Fleming. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Siloam Springs, Ark., on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at 10 am. Interment will be at Leon Cemetery, in Leon. Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home of Tulsa is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Grove.
