Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 19 Feb 1949, Sat Page 2 James Vech, Sr. Funeral Is Held Cedar Bluffs - Funeral services for James Vech, Sr., 79, were held at the Sellhorn funeral home of North Bend with Rev. B.A. Phillipi officiating. Burial was at the Killian cemetery. Mr. Vech died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gustie Hajek, four miles west of Cedar Bluffs. Survivors are five sons, James, William and Louis of Cedar Bluffs; and Ernest and Bernard of Morse Bluff; five daughters, Mrs. Hajek of Cedar Bluffs; Mrs. Anna Belik of Morse Bluff; Mrs. Mary Macholan of Linwood, Mrs. Mildred Kratky of Prague and Mrs. Bessie Palat of Omaha; and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Roubal of North Bend.
