Bio
David B. Davis was my 3rd great grandfather. He was born in Surry County, NC and came to Illinois in 1839. I don't know where his gravesite is exactly or even if the stone is still standing, but if it can be found, I would surely like a photograph of it. The mother of David's children, his first wife, Christina, may be buried close by. She remarried after their divorce and her name was Adkins at the time of her death, sometime after 1880. If that grave can be found as well, that would be great to know.
