VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Alfred Mickel Berryhill, 70-year-old Howe welder, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel Hone. He died Wednesday at his residence. Herman Cramer of Sequin will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Berryhill was born in Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Berryhill. He married Mary Christine Knowles on Sept. 23, 1939 in Streetman. He was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Howe. Surviving are his wife; son Bob Berryhill of Van Alstyne; sister, Lois Bourne of Sebastian; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be Paul Snyder, Jack Scoggins, Gene Knowles, Greg Van Dine, Doug Flanery and Lawrence Hees. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, and other times at the family residence, 805 S. Ricketts in Howe. Sherman Democrat January 18, 1990 A-10
