Bio

Graveside services with full military honors for Johnnie C. Beech, 71, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Screws officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:30 until 2:45 at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Beech died Monday at his home. Survivors include his wife, Margot Beech; his daughter, Priscilla Beech Lloyd; his grandchildren, Amanda Brooke Lloyd and Slayton Blake Lloyd. Mr. Beech was a native of Carriere, MS, parents Colon and Vermelle Holcombe Beech; sisters, Allie Mae Beech Kimbro and Corine Penton, both of Texas; nieces Glenda Penton Breen (Steve), Debra Kay Kimbro Gibbs (Jeffrey), and Hope Penton Lacy. Mr. Beech was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 1/2 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran and employed by Anniston Army Depot for 11 years.
