Son of Tabitha George & Smith Scoggins Husband of #1 Eliza Rhodes #2 Caroline Amanda Robertson Father of John A. Scoggins Thula Caroline Scoggins ∼ Alexander Scoggins was the son of Smith Scoggins and Tabitha George Scoggins. He was born in Wake county, North Carolina and died in Eldorado, Oklahoma. He married Eliza Rhodes on 27 December 1854 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. They had one son, John Allen, Memorial #24970192. Later he married Caroline Amanda Robertson in 1874 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. They had three children. Later generations spelled the name Scroggins. He was a Civil War Veteran serving in the 21st Wilson's TN Calv. Co F. His brother, Smith Scroggins Jr was killed in the Civil War.
