Daniel Elden Coombs left this life not a minute before, or a minute after, he was supposed to the morning of September 14, 2006. He was born to Jean Perry and Virgil Coombs June 30, 1974. Growing up in Santaquin he worked in the apple orchards at a young age where he found an appreciation of hard work and a love of the sunshine. Shortly after high school he started work at Petersens Medical in the Service Department, where he has been able to nurture his love of helping people for the past 13 years. Whether it was fixing a broken concentrator or customizing the paint job on a wheelchair, people knew if they wanted to be taken care of, they need only to ask for Daniel. Even after his diagnosis of cirrhosis in his mid-20s, he still had a positive outlook on life and continued to go to work in his efforts to better the world around him by helping the people who were customers. He had a love of electronics and constantly had a car in the shop working on the stereo. He was even in the Parade of Homes for the amazing theater he built in his house in Springville many years ago. Daniel and Lorinda met in 2003 and fell in love immediately. They married New Years Day, 2005 in Las Vegas. Despite their short time together they shared a deep love and passion for each other that radiated throughout the world around them. They truly felt they were soul-mates and believe they will find each other again. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad; grandfather, Elden; and father, Virgil. He is survived by his wife, Lorinda; mother, Jean; brother, Josh; and nephew, Maverick; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
