Bio

BELTON — Joyce Wilson, 82, of Belton died Tuesday, July 27, in a Temple hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Jeff Loudin officiating. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born July 5, 1928, in Big Spring to Albert and Evelyn Dublin Crews. She retired from the Department of Agriculture in 1989 and later worked for the Bell County voter registration and vehicle registration office in Belton. She married B.E. Wilson in June 1995 in Belton. She was a member of Taylor's Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Belton; two sons, Byron Maudlin of Belton and Bob Maudlin of Crosby; a stepson, Eddie Wilson of Waco; three stepdaughters, Patsy McEver of Belton, Tammy Rickets of Burleson and Ricci Douglas of Belton; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Taylor's Valley Baptist Church Building Fund or Scott and White Hospice.
