MARY FRANCELLA PIERCE Mary Pierce, 71, of Abilene died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at her home. She was born May 16, 1936 in Le Mars, Iowa the daughter of Elmer and May Brennen Ladasaw. She grew to womanhood in Lamar and attended the local schools. She married George Edward Pierce on Oct 3, 1985. All of their married life was spent in Abilene. She was preceeded in death by her husband George. Survivors include four sons, William DeVoe of Norfolk, VA, Richard DeVoe of Omaha, NE, Ray Kline of Great Bend, OR and Danney Kline of Abilene; two daughters, Rosemarie Higgenbotham of Rolla MO, and Connie Carey of Oklahoma City; a stepson, James Nichols of Abilene; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at the Danner Funeral Home, 501 N Buckeye, with Pastor Stan Norman officiating....
