Bio

From the Table Rock Argus, July 10, 1902: Josef Hana died at his home in this city at 5 o'clock last evening. He has been in poor health for some years, and during the past year has required the services of a constant attendant. He was 76 years of age, and came to Pawnee County thirty three years ago last Fourth of July. He was the father of eight children, seven of whom are still living; his aged wife survives him. The funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. Note: Josef Hana, his wife Marie, and children Marie, Wenzl, Josef, Franz, Josefa, and Anton, immigrated to America in 1870. Their port of arrival was New York, arriving on 18 Jun 1870; ship name was Rhein.
