JENNIE STEMBRIDGE VARNELL SINYARD Jennie V. Sinyard, 94, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1993, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in McMinnville, Tenn., was a homemaker and a member of the church of Christ. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel, Center Star, with Terry Tipper officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery. Survivors include James A. Sinyard, Rogersville, Douglas Varnell, Memphis, Tenn.; stepdaughters, Velma Bullard, Lillie Forsythe, both of Anderson, Louise Harbin, Athens, Villie Burch, Huntland, Tenn.; brother Willie "Babe" Stembridge, McMinnville; Anna Stembridge Markum, McMinnville; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Junior Ritter, Jerry Weathers, Edgar Tidwell, Robert Angus, Royce Varnell, and Clellon Gautney. As published in the TimesDaily 1/7/1993.
