Bio
AUSTIN WAYNE JONES was the son of William Frederick "W.F." Jones and Mrs. Winnie Irene (Jared) Jones Harber. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was the husband of Mrs. Annie Lou (Oney) Woods whom he married on December 12, 1957 in Harrison County, Texas. His wife survived him in death. Obituary Excerpt "Among his survivors is his wife, the former Annie Lou Oney. Also surviving are one daughter, Miss Alicia Ann Jones, of Marshall; two sons, Roger Wayne Jones and Steven Roe Jones, both of Marshall; his mother, Mrs. G.L. Harber Sr., of Marshall; four sisters, Mrs. Addie mae Harber and Mrs. Margaret Booth, both of Marshall, Mrs. Johnnie Faye Baker, of Mesquite, and Mrs. Ruth Virginia Chicosky, of New Jersey; and five brothers, William G. Jones, G.L. Harber Jr. and Reese Harber, all of Marshall, Gilbert G. Harber, of Dallas, and Maj. James Paul Harber, stationed with the U.S. Army in Korea."
