1852 - Married Maria Huggins in New York State. Two children were born, in New York. 1. William Henry b. 1853-1878 2. Mary(John Huntamer) b. 1856-1924 Maria died abt 1862 1862- 27 Aug enlisted in Co. C 16th NY volunteers and was honarably discharged 3 months later for medical reasons. 1866- Married wife #2 Mary Matilda Kidd, in New York 8 children 1. Nell b. 1867-1941 2. Ira William 1868-1946 3. Carrie E.(George Lord) b. 27 Dec. 1870 - 1900 4. Frank Leslie 1873-1948 5. Fred J 1874-1889 6.Abbie 1876-1944 7.Laura Louise 1877-1943 8. Lewis(Pearl M. Farrell) 1878-1945 1869- Went West to Minnesota 1871- Went West to South Dakota by oxen drawn covered wagons. The family required two wagons for everyone and all their belongings.
