Sophia Pauline (Beebe) Ovenshire was the daughter of John and Lydia (French) Beebe. She was the wife of Samuel Ovenshire. They were married by Rev. Abner Chase in Penn Yan, New York October 10, 1832. Samuel died January 25, 1885. Obituary Unidentified Newsclipping - 1872 OVENSHIRE.--Sophia, daughter of John and Lydia Beebe, and wife of Samuel Ovenshire, died in Barrington, Yates Co., New York, early on the morning of the 24th of July, 1872.
