Bio

No proof buried in this grave marked as Unknown Civil War - Co. C, 5th Missouri. Resident of Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas. Previous served in 15th Arkansas Infantry where he enlisted in Benton County, Arkansas for 1 year, age 22, on July 15, 1861. Reenlisted for "the war" and transferred to C. 5th Missouri Infantry in 1862. He was a carpenter before the war.
