Daughter of Louis J. and Cecilia (Fuchs) Veik. She was raised in Platte County and was united in marriage to William German on Oct. 14, 1941, at St. Mary of the Angels Church near Humphrey. The couple farmed near Humphrey until 1952 when they moved to Columbus where they raised their family. Conradia worked at Mead's until retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, St. Bonaventure Guild, Quilting Club and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, playing cards, bingo and spending time with family. She is survived by: Daughter: Marlene (Dave) Altmanshofer of Covina, Calif.; son: Eugene German of Independence, Mo.; daughter: Diane (Ron) Anderson of Columbia, Mo.; son: Mark (Kathleen) German of Columbus; daughter: Lois (Marshall) Logan of North Platte; son: Louis (Ethel) German of North Bend, Ore.; daughter: Kathleen (Jay) Jackson of Columbus; daughter: Barbara (Brad) Nelson of Faribault, Minn.; brother: Art (Thelma) Veik of Madison; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Husband: William German; father: Louis J. Veik; mother: Cecilia Veik; son: Thomas German; son: William German, Jr.; son-in-law: David Altmanshofer; granddaughter: Cheryl Altmanshofer; two brothers; four sisters.
