Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown handled arrangments. ∼ Myron was the husband of Alma Jack "Jackie" Jenson and was the father of Charles Eugene Jenson, Frank Justin Jenson, and Michael Jenson. Jenson, 76, was born July 15, 1924, in Cranfills Gap, Tx. A resident of Baytown since 1968, he passed away, Monday, May 14, 2001, at his home. A 1941 graduate of Barbers Hill High School, he was on the first football team to be inducted into the Barbers Hill Sports Hall of Honor and was a 1949 graduate of Texas A and M University. He was a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he sang in the choir and was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. He retired from Texas Eastern Transmission Corp. with 35 years of service. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Cuero, Texas V.F.W. and a member of the VPB-18 Squadron. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Justin and Helen Jenson and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Alma Busch. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jackie Busch Jenson of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Judy Jenson of Houston; Frank Jenson of LaPorte; Charles and Karen Jenson of Allen; sister and brother-in-law, Junelle and Bill Kubik of Baytown; brother, Eugene Jenson of Anahuac; uncle and aunt, Rev. Lawrence and Camilla Jenson of Clifton; grandchildren, Laura Jenson, Justin Jenson, Katie Jenson, Morgan Jenson, Rachel Jenson and Rebecca Jenson. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. today, May 16, 2001, at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Redeemer Lutheran church in Baytown, with Rev. Richard Turner officiating. Burial to follow at 3 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Montgomery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Kubik, Terry Britton, Jeff Eldridge, Rev. Morris Mathis, Josh Kubik and Justin Jenson. Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Bond, Fred Sager, Warren Locklin, Jack James, Ted Dodd and Buzz Mitchell.
