Dr. Kenneth J. Hogan of Waldron, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in the Waldron hospital. Dr. Hogan was 76 years old. He was a dentist and a member of the Westside Church of Christ, in Waldron, Arkansas. Dr. Hogan was a 1960 graduate of Washington University Dental School in St. Louis, Missouri. He served honorably in the military from 1960 to 1965. Upon his completion of military service, Dr. Hogan moved back to Waldron and began his dental practice. He retired in 1989. Dr. Hogan was preceded in death by his parents. He is urvived by his wife of 56 years: Marilyn Hogan of the home; four children: Michael Hogan and wife Tonya, Cheryl Seidel and husband Stuart, Bary Hogan and wife Christine, and Annette Smith and husband David; 8 grandchildren: Jeffery Hogan and wife Ashley, Haley Seidel, Lauren Smith, Taylor Hogan, Grant Hogan, Hogan Seidel, Evan Smith, and Parker Hogan; a great-granddaughter: Baeleigh Hogan; former patients; and a host of dear friends. Funeral services for the doctor were held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. He was laid to rest a Owens Chapel Cemetery in Mena, Arkansas. Pallbearers were: C.R. Carpenter, Noal Sanders, David Smith, Stuart Seidel, David Hawkins, and Wayne Reid. Honorary pallbearers were: Edward Jackson, and Bill Tarlton. Source: "Martin Funeral Obit.
