Cora Lee Underwood, Newalla, OK, age 65, was born on January 23, 1945, in Bengal, OK. She was the daughter of Newtie D. & Bonnie C. (Henning) Tucker. She departed this life on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in Del City, OK. Cora graduated from Choctaw High School, Choctaw, OK. She attended the Moore-Norman VoTech where she received her LPN license. Cora worked as a home health nurse.She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry D. Edwards, and daughter, Betty Christine Edwards. Cora is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Terry L. & Tonya Edwards, Newalla, OK, one daughter Amy J. Edwards of Norman, OK, sister Tammy Weston of Moore,OK,6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 28, 2010, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Pastor James T. Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemtery, Newalla, OK.
