Jake Holman COOPER - Jake Holman, 78, of Klondike died Monday, July 18, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Servies will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Lee Alexander will officiate. Services will be helod [sic] Wednesday, July 20, at 4 p.m at the Assembly of God Church in Clarendon with burial in the Citizens Cemetery there. Mr. Holman was born Jan. 22, 1910, in Hall County, a son of Walter and Callie Blackshear Holman. On Nov. 7, 1930, he married Myrtle Rogers. She died July 3, 1960. He was a retired plumber and had lived in Klondike for the past year. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Hoskison of Klondike and Garnida Hoskison of Ladonia; two sisters, Vinnie Kisey of New Mexico and Mamie Banks of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Homer Golman, in 1980.
