HARRIET PAULINE HOOD, 92, of Pearland, Texas passed away July 7, 2010 in Houston, Texas. She was born April 24, 1918 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George Henry and Mayme Ethel (Smylie) Nicholson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Benjamin Harrison Hood and son, Benjamin Harrison Hood, Jr. Harriet is survived by her son, Don H. Hood and wife Kathie of Pearland, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Hood of Pearland, Texas; four grandchildren, Laura E. Hood, Leslie P. Hood, Jeff H. Hood, Sr., and Donna M. Hood; and four great-grandchildren, Sean Lovstuen, Kyle Lovstuen, Jeff H. Hood, Jr. and Bailey N. Hood. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Hughes officiating.
