Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, Utah August 1, 1914 ~ June 30, 2010 Opal Radmall Nielson, 95, of Pleasant Grove passed away Thursday, June 30, 2010. Opal was born August 1, 1914 in Pleasant Grove to Alma Jr. and Perlinda May Christiansen Radmall. She married Raymond J. Nielson in Pleasant Grove on October 5, 1933; their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. Opal was a life-long Pleasant Grove resident and loved her flower gardens. She enjoyed nothing more than fishing with her family and friends. She is survived by her five children: Janet (Kenneth) Hawker, Murray; Larry Nielson, Ozark, AL; David Ray Nielson, Orem; Brent L. Nielson, Pleasant Grove; Vickie Nielson, Pleasant Grove; 30 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 62 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, LaRue Ellis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Sixth Ward Chapel, 500 North 300 East, Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services.
