The Baytown Sun Baytown, Texas · Wednesday, 28 Dec 1949 Baytown Woman Dies At Age 73 Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Walston, 73, of 305 West Cleveland were to be held at 3 p.m. today at Earthman Chapel. Burial will be in Hill of Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Walston, a resident of Baytown for about 10 years, had been in ill health for many years. She died at a Houston hospital at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Edda Lee of Cleveland; two sons, Johnny James Walston and W. E. Walston, both of Baytown. Pallbearers will be Arlen Wells, Adrian Isaacks, Marvin Wells, Max Anderson, Floyd Phillips and Billy Wilkins.
