Married Willam S Harrell II on March 01, 1864 in Brown County Illinois Recorded as "Heral & Clendenen" Known children: Lydia Hearold (Harrell) (circa 1865) John S Hearold (Harrell) (circa 1869) Eugene Hearold (Harrell) (circa 1873) Married: Lucien Taylor Behymer Dec 4, 1877 Known Children: Cora B Behymer (circa 1878) Murl Behymer (circa 1886) The following obit is from the Descendants of Elisha Hall" Obituary "Esther Clendennin was born in Orange County Inidana March 7, 1845 and departed this life May 29 1909 at 8:30 a.m being of 64 years 2 months and 22 days old. She was married April 1863 to Wm. Hearl. To this union were born four children. Mrs. Lydia Peacock, Peoria and John Hearl of Beardstown. Hugene died just when he was entering manhood and Nancy who died at the age of two years. Mr Hearl died Oct. 21 1874. On Dec 4 1877 whe was united in marriage to L. T. Behymer. To this union were born three children. Mrs. E C Bates and Oliver Dosier and one child that died in infancy. While living in Indiana at the age of 16 whe united with the Christian church. She came to Brown County at the age of 18 and has been a resident of this place ever since. She bore her long sickness with christian fortitude and was ready and willing to go and be at rest. The funeral was conducted at the residence Sunday at 3 p.m. by Elder B.S.M. Edwards to a large audience of relatives and friends. Interment was made in the Versailles cemetery. The family return their sincere thanks to all their friends who asisted (sic) them during the sickness and death of wife and mother. William S. Harrell was born abt 1843 and died on 21 Oct 1874, living his entire life in Versailles, Brown Co., Illinois. Esther and William had 4 children together: Lydia, John Sherman, Eugene, and Nancy Harrell. After William's death, Esther married Lucien Taylor Behymer on 04 Dec 1877.
