Bio

Husband: James W. Thornton. As Mrs. Thornton was starting a fire under her wash kettle in her back yard, her dress caught on fire as she poured coal oil on the wood. Screaming, Mrs. Thornton ran to the yard fence, before several high school boys tackled her and rolled her in a quilt.
