Bio

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Anna (Granny) Wade, 86, at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zavalla Pentecostal Church of God. Burial followed at Zavalla Cemetery. Mrs. Wade died in a Lufkin hospital Tuesday afternoon. She was born on August 25, 1881, in Montgomery, Alabama and had resided in Angelina County most of her life. She was a member of the Zavalla Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alice Reppond, Mrs. Eula Lee Haskins and Mrs. Myrtie Grubbs; three sons, W. C. Wade, J. H. Wade, Jr. and C. P. Wade; sister, Mrs. Mira Ward; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.
