Bio
Graveside services for Jody Bounds, 60, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Bounds was born in Belton, October 28, 1949, the son of R. D. and Margaret Bert Bounds. He was a 1968 graduate of Belton High School where he enjoyed playing football. He married Delores Pagel, in August 1969 in Temple. He worked as a welder. Mr. Bounds enjoyed playing baseball and softball as an adult. He attended Church of Christ services. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997. Survivors include his mother, Bert Bounds of Belton, daughter Bridgette Bounds, brother Jimmy D. Bounds and wife Pat of Belton and Sister Cindy Gilleland and husband Duke of Belton and many nieces and nephews.
