Bio

Son of George A. Rasure - Mary Eliza Ford Charles Willard Rasure was a teacher in the Graham, Texas public schools during the 1901-1902 term. He and his wife moved to Olney, Texas where he became the first superintendent after Olney became an independent school district. He moved to Graham with his two children in 1903 to become principal of the Graham elementary schools. On 1 May 1904, Charles Rasure married Florence Brazelton at Graham, Texas. Miss Brazelton was an elementary school teacher and had grown up in Graham. Mr. Rasure became high school principal in 1906. The couple moved to Oklahoma in the summer of 1907.
