Daughter of Samuel Frank Scott and Mary Meredith of Tennessee and Arkansas. Dovie married John Hickson on March 14, 1898 in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. They had the following children: Fulton Hickson Agnes Virginia Hickson Eagleberger Beatrice Elizabeth Hickson Vieregge Eunice Hickson Dovie died at age 81 in Dallas.
